Pradhan Mantri Dhan-Dhaanya Krishi Yojana (PM-DDKY)

Pradhan Mantri Dhan-Dhaanya Krishi Yojana (PM-DDKY)

Overview

Launched in October 2025, Pradhan Mantri Dhan-Dhaanya Krishi Yojana targets the 100 districts across India with the lowest agricultural productivity, many of which are in Bihar and eastern UP. The scheme takes a saturation approach, converging credit, infrastructure, soil health, and crop diversification interventions in one place for 1.7 crore farmers.

Key Benefits

  • Focused soil health improvement programs in targeted districts
  • Enhanced credit availability and KCC coverage push
  • Post-harvest storage infrastructure development (warehouses, silos)
  • Technology adoption support
  • Crop diversification assistance and market linkage

Eligibility

  • Farmers residing in any of the 100 identified low-productivity districts
  • Priority to small and marginal farmers

How to Apply

  • Scheme is delivered through existing departments and portals (PM-KISAN portal, DBT, KVKs)
  • Farmers in targeted districts automatically benefit from enhanced state-level implementation

Notes

  • Implementation is district-convergence based; not a separate application process for individual farmers
  • Check if your district is among the 100 targeted districts
