e-NAM (National Agriculture Market)

e-NAM (National Agriculture Market)

Overview

e-NAM is a pan-India electronic trading platform that connects existing Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) mandis into a unified national market. Farmers can sell their produce online to buyers across India without being restricted to their local mandi, enabling better price discovery. Over 1,000 mandis in India are integrated, including 70+ in Uttar Pradesh.

Key Benefits

  • Better price discovery through open, transparent online bidding
  • Farmers can sell to buyers across multiple states without physical presence
  • Reduced role of middlemen and commission agents
  • Payments directly to farmer’s Aadhaar-linked bank account
  • Real-time price data and market information through e-NAM portal and mobile app
  • No additional platform charges for farmers

Eligibility

  • All farmers whose local APMC mandi is registered on e-NAM
  • 70+ UP mandis are integrated; check enam.gov.in for your local mandi status
  • Farmer must be registered with their local mandi

How to Apply

  1. Register at enam.gov.in or the e-NAM mobile app (available on Google Play)
  2. Visit local APMC mandi office for physical registration with Aadhaar and bank details
  3. Once registered, list produce on the platform and participate in bidding
